Who may register
Registrant must be an organisation registered in Norway, or a person aged 18 or over resident in Norway. Quotas apply per registrant.
What it costs
| Registration | $8.40 / year |
|---|---|
| Renewal | $8.40 / year |
| Transfer | $0.32 |
| Smallest possible first bill | $8.40 |
Standard price from Dynadot. Premium and reserved names return the same registry answer as an ordinary free one, so every quote here is a floor rather than a price.

Is a .no name free?
Availability comes from the registry itself over RDAP, with a WHOIS fallback where a registry publishes no RDAP service. A throttled or unreachable registry is reported as unconfirmed rather than available. It is the one wrong answer that costs somebody money.
